ok right now i have a good amount of cash so i need help. i have a v4 acura integra 1992 LS (DOHC) automatic. and my cousin that lives next door has a 1999 323 BMW v6. and we always race and he always beats me but just by a little. and the reason is that he always takes of on me in the start but once we reach 40 mph i start catching up a little but never do so he always wins by a litlle. witch is natural cause his bmw is a v6. anyways i really need ur help what can i do to make my integra faster please help.

On the simple side, you could change points, plugs, oil, and filters.

first of all you dumbass, bmw does not make a 3 series v6. its an inline six.second of all, its going to be hard to beat his car cuz he has a rwd advantage.third of all, you shouldn't be racing to begin with.but if you wanted to go faster by a lil, find ways to make your car lighter, buy some headers, a huge cold air intake, new camshafts and spark plugs should be good too.but if you had a lot of money and help, you could easily find a turbo for that car.

First off if its a REAL 323 inline 6 and he's "barely" beating you then theres something wrong with HIS car. that car has a 100 HP advantage over the 140 HP ls Integra. SO either your story is stretching the truth or his car is garbage. But to answer your question, Get rid of the DOHC NON-VTEC engine, swap in a B18C1 from a GSR, convert it to manual, then add a nice turbo kit like Greddy, or Turbonetics and you will have a 300-350HP street monster.

If money really isn't an issue I wouldn't even swap it with the B18c1 or 5... I would just go with the B18C. The JDM one. The engine is about 4k and the vtec on it SCREAMS.

if you don't really feel like swapping run about 12psi of boost on the current engine It will definitly give you some extra speed. I don't know if it will be the BMW just because i don't know enough about them.
