How can I check a trans on a 2000 acura rl, no check engine lights are on...? The car has 115,000 miles. It is a automatic. When I put it into gear it seems like it will slip a little when I put it into drive and hit the gas. When I easy to take off it does not slip, but if i am in a hurry it will.

depends on if if 2.5 or 3.2-if 4 cylinder on the passenger side front of engine comp. under battery area-if v6,driver side under battery area-look for a yellow ring at the outside end of dipstick-in both cases, check with trans warm, engine off
