Default Checking a trans on a acura rl?

How can I check a trans on a 2000 acura rl, no check engine lights are on...? The car has 115,000 miles. It is a automatic. When I put it into gear it seems like it will slip a little when I put it into drive and hit the gas. When I easy to take off it does not slip, but if i am in a hurry it will.

take it into the dealer...since you don't know what you're doing. It's best to let someone who knows the car FIX it..

depends on if if 2.5 or 3.2-if 4 cylinder on the passenger side front of engine comp. under battery area-if v6,driver side under battery area-look for a yellow ring at the outside end of dipstick-in both cases, check with trans warm, engine off
