I am new to all of this and I was wondering how to take the plastic side moldings off of my 93 integra. Also would it be easier to replace them or to paint them? If i painted them, how would I go about doing that as far as prep and type of paint?

First off, what is wrong with them now? I would replace them before trying to paint them.

get new ones. if you paint over plastic factory parts like that it will look like crap.

I really don't think you can get them off without messing up your paint. There is glue you have to get off and then your color will probably be a shade or 2 darker than the rest of your paint. Just wipe them down with a paint prep and tape off around the moldings so you don't get pain on the rest of the car.
