Hello fellow enthusiasts!
I have a problem. I own a 95 Acura Integra and have a issue that I cannot pinpoint. For the last 6 months I have had issues with starting the car. Every once in a while it will act as if the starter is going bad (turns over a few times and stops) If I simply bumpo the ignition a few times it always starts. I have never had to tap the starter to seat the brushes. I did buy a new starter but have not replaced as I don't think thats my issue.
Recently, on some cold mornings I try to start the car and lose ALL power. No lights, no dash lights, no dome light...nothing. If I let it set for 20 minutes and then re-insert the key, the car fires right up. This morning was different, it lost all power and has never came back on. I did punch the sterring wheel very hard out of frustration and the power came on again! But when I turned the key, it lost all power again.
Any suggestions?? I am assuming this is an ignition switch issue. Is there a ignition relay hidden somewhere under the dash?? Help me!
