You are probably not the only person, however, Acura, as a brand was developed to serve the North American market and such cars as the long running Integra were all found the be Honda's in other markets. Acura has built itself a pretty solid reputation in the U.S as being a reliable entry level luxury vehicle. Although their prices tend to increase as every model year passes, they still offer a lot for the price.
