Default Acura b18 upgrades?

Ive owned Nissans all my life and the last upgrade I did was to swap out an engine. I sold the Nissan shortly thereafter. Since then Ive been "tinkering" with and 97 integra which is new to me. Ive already added headers, suspension, brakes and pullys for my car. I own a set of Skunk2 cam gears and my question is would you recommend me replacing cam gears BEFORE I put on the camshafts? Any other recommendations I can do before I replace the Cams, or just go ahead and put them on?one last thing, the gasket was replaced so weither this is a Vtec or NA I have NO idea....yeah im gonna need help on figuring that out too.

look under the back plate for the VTEC, it should be there in the body work...if not (and some fill it in..I don't know why since it can't be seen anyway.)If the engine no longer says so...if it's been rebadged or they've been taken off, you might have to run the VIN through to see what it is.(Acura will know...it may also be on any paperwork that came with the car...Acura/Honda is very good at puting the type engine on the work orders..along with the VIN.)

when you replace your cams replace the cam gears as well. I would just wait until you get cams so you don't keep going into the cylinder head. intake would be a good one i didn't see that on there. Maybe a bigger throttle body as well.vtec is naturally aspirated. VTEC is a system that switches to a larger cam profile at a certain set point. As you know more lift and duration means more flow and power. A shure way to tell is read the code off the block. B18A1 or B18B1 140-142hp is the base non vtec, B18C1 is the gsr engine which does have vtec 170hp. and the B18C5 which is the type r engine rated at 195hp, also vtec. But you should know if it is vtec, it will say on the valve cover, unless you have one of those ricer knock off valve covers.
