I have a choice between a lexus is250 and acura tl, I don't know which one I should get.

get the tl. even though it is front-wheel drive, it handles better and looks better, as well as has better steering. the only problem with the tl is that it doesn't have the snow ability that the AWD is250 would have, but it is a better car by far.

None of them are AWD and they are not in the same class.The Lexus IS250 competes with the Acura TSX. The IS250 is a compact sedan and the TL is a midsized sedan.I would get the Acura TL because it has 250HP and it looks much sportier and nicer than the Lexus. It is also more fun to drive.The Acura is Front wheel drive.Better in snow and rain. Not as good on dry pavement.The Lexus is Rear wheel drive.-Bad in snow and rain. Good on dry pavement.

test drive them both and then decide since you will be the one driving it. I own an acura and love it. My sister-in-law has a lexus and would recommend that,

The TL is my choice but there both good cars labor might be a little bit cheaper on the Acura though.

You asked in the Acura section, so of course it will be biased. Hopefully I won't get any thumbs down for this one...It depends what are you going for. The TL, Touring Luxury is meant towards the driver who is looking more towards luxury with the occasional dap of performance. I own a TL with Navi, and all the technology in the car certainly is good, especially the voice commands. While the IS is more sporty, despite having less horsepower, 205 vs 270, the IS is a more rewarding drive. It is rwd, so it's more "fun" to toss around. I use to own an Infiniti G35 coupe, and I didn't think I would miss the rwd that much, but I did.Both are fine cars, I would personally for the IS250.

None they look like bland BMW copycats.

^(Post above is a goof). Anyways, If you're living in the 4 seasons area, both is fine but the IS250 has AWD advantage. Their both great cars no doubt. But if your planning to have fun with a little more kick I would consider IS350, I'm sure it wont disappointe.

Do yourself a favor and get the Acura. It is much quicker than the Lexus. The IS250 has a weak engine on its own but combined with AWD, that makes it even slower.
