it has no o2 sensor and it also has a aftermarket fuel rail with 450cc injectors. the problem is sputering and stalling. i have tried the indivdual resisters and it just seamed to make it worse tommarow i am going to try just a regular resistor box to see if that helps.i have checked and rechecked the vacum lines and those are fine, as of right now i am completley stumped if the resister box does not work.

Sounds like your trying to pump to much fuel into the engine. The bigger injectors and fuel rail are nice to have but if the engine can't use the fuel you'll sputter out (flood) the engine. Also have you had the computer remapped or programed? The computer may be wacked out not knowing what to do with the bigger injectors, fuel rail, and not having an O2 sensor. I would imagine it originally came with an o2 sensor which helps the computer determine fuel mixture; might be a good idea to reinstall it.

Well I need to know if it was a FULL kit like Greddy or Turbonetics or a CHEAP knock off kit like the one on Ebay. The higher end kits have everything you need including the fuel management so if something like that is messed up then I need to know which kit it is. Also if its got the larger injectors and nothing to trim down the flow at idle or not under boost then you are delivering WAY too much fuel for your car to combust. Basically your stock injectors work at about 70% duty cycle meaning that they can actually deliver enough fuel for up to 8 pounds of boost with a proper and simple fuel controller like the Apex'i NEO. But the Greddy kit has larger injectors and a seperate controller for them, while the Turbonetics kit has 2 LARGE injectors that only work under boost and are controlled by an external controller. I GUARANTEE if you put your factory injectors in your car and run it NOT UNDER BOOST the car will idle and run fine. Then try to speed up under boost and it will sputter. Basically all you can really do is either put the factory injectors back in and buy a controller, or keep the 450cc's in and buy a controller. basically you need a fuel controller. And you will have to take it somewhere to get it set because they are VERY finicky if you don't know what your doing.

Mine had problems with idle also... I adjusted fuel pressure, fuel mapping (with piggyback fuel computer and wideband o2 sensor), and had the downpipe welded to the rest of the exhaust and it hasn't given me an issue yet. Thats the best answer I can give you with the info you put out. Do you know your air fuel ratio? Is your boost guage reading vaccum? Do you know your fuel pressure? Did you replace the fuel pump? You were talking about a resistor box, did you buy low impedance injectors? Need more info...
