Default Is it safe to use a used lower control arm on on an 1999 Acura RL?

Regular part cost over $300 however many used parts stores have this part availalble and say it has been tested. I dont want to spend $300 for this part.

When it comes to safety, better to spend the extra money. Used parts are visually inspected at best. An accident will cost much more.

I sure wouldn't. It's only one of the most critical safety related parts in the entire suspension. Spend the $$ for a new one.RickI'm a retired ASE Master/L-1 Technician. I still keep current with the latest automotive technology. Visit my blog for cool articles and TSB's:

It's never safe to put anything used on unless you get it from a very reliable source and you check that everything is good mechanically and physically.
