I hate them. Aside from having almost no offroad capability, they only get around 12-15mpg around town.Biggest POS Honda ever made.

My parents own a 2007 MDX, and I occasionally drive it. It drives very smoothly, like if you were floating. Nice interior, good amount of space. Very nice overall, and at a great price compared to its rivals. Was Motortrends 2007 SUV of the year, and was a top safety pick. Like it very much, being that I am more of a compact car person.

I have an 04 Acura MDX. I love it. It drives well, it's roomy, plenty of power etc... Only things I don't like is it's 4-wheel drive feature. It is advertised as 4-wheel drive, but it's not. You can only go up to 20 mph in 4-wheel drive. So it will work if you get stuck somewhere, but when you are on slick roads and you want that extra security... you can't have it. On the bright side, it is front wheel drive. Additionally, we have a lot of problems with the stereo controls on the steering wheel. There is a mode, channel and volume control. They are always either not working, or are doing something else other than what they are for. Like the volume will all of a sudden change the channel. Apparently this is a common problem with Acura MDX's. Otherwise, it's a great vehicle!Oh and to dumb %$* up there that said it was a piece of shit and gets bad gas mileage... it gets about 18 in town, which isn't bad for an suv it's size. The price is less than it's direct competitors, and as a matter of fact... it is less than a Toyota 4-runner. And of course it doesn't go 'off-road' well... it's a luxury vehicle not a frickin' Hummer!

It is very fast. It feels like a car when you drive it. It has a great voice command system that understands everything and it has a smooth and quiet ride. I got about an average of 20mpg. It handles great and its AWD is very good. Off roading is fun in it.

my father drivers one... gets good mileage, but it is very sluggish when accelerating... you really have to put the petal to the metal to get to 20 in less than 4 seconds... other than that, i love it!

I drove a loaner from my dealer when I brought my TL in for service. I wasn't impressed at all. The interior was unimpressive and plain, and the vehicle didn't seem to have the power you'd think it would have for a "top line" SUV.
