Integra is a good and reliable car but the safety depends on how you drive it and how accident occurs.

The Integra is the best damn car in the world!!!!!!!!

i have had at least 6 integra rangeing from 90 to 2001, i will not buy any other car for myself and as far as safety i think it is a great car the handleing is great,but if someone is driveing reckless then safety has gone to stupidness.

I had a 94 Integra and I hit a telephone pole doing 65 almost head on and flipped the car twice and skid on the roof about 30 feet. Me and the other two passengers walked away completely unharmed, and I wasn't even wearing a seatbelt. The car stood up amazingly considering what happened. One of the passengers was 6'3" and was sitting in the passneger seat and his head normally touches the roof, and the passenger walked away unhurt. I also had a sunroof and the glass didn't even fully shatter, plus the cover for it was closed so nothing came in thru the roof. I swear by those cars and I now own another 94.

It is very reliable but unfortunately I would not call it safe. These cars are very light to improve mpg and performance which makes them like tin cans. Very unfortunate because they are nice cars.
