like it was tearing the silver part of my rims on the inside and you could see some silver on the side of the bracket. was this cuz i put my rims on incorrectly or is the caliper/ caliper bracket too big???its on my '89 Acura Integra LS

you could add some spacers to give you the needed room. That would be a much cheaper option then buying new calipers, and not like hardware spacers. a good amount of suspension companies make them. It will give the offset you need for the calipers. Or the next option is to sit there with a file and grind the brackets if it is only a little
