Default What are the tire size measurements for an 05 Acura RSX Type S?

When I bought the car, it had P215/45 R17, but I'm trying to purchase some new ones, and the guy is telling me that its suppose to have P225/45 R17.. Whats the difference anyway?

go to tirerack.com put in your car and it'll tell ya what you need. The differance is the width of your tire in millimeters 215 or 225 not a real big differance

You can always contact the Consumer Affairs department of a tire manufacturer, for example Yokohama, and they will coach you thru making the best tire choice for your specific driving style and needs, depending on your vehicle. I am sure all tire manufactures offer this service, but I am familiar with Yokohama's and they are extremely helpfull.1-800-722-9888 (option #2) Monday through Friday 6:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Standard time
