Default taking tranny out of a 01 acura mdx?

can you remove the tranny whithout removing the engine also. I only need to tralpce the tranny not the engine. If there is a way, please let me know how. Thanks.sorry i only need to replace the tranny not the engine.

You can remove the tranny w/o removing the engine. It would be very impractical if the tranny and the engine were permanently connected.
