Default Acura 1.7 EL rims

Hi guys,

This may be a silly question so allow me to preface my question by saying that as a lady, cars are not really my hobby. Sorry boys.

My question is with regards to winter tires. I purchased winter tires from the US for a very good price ($57 ea. for Bridgestone Blizzak REVO 1, 185/65R15) and yes, I did buy the right size! I now need some steel rims but the dealer is charging $80 per rim. Can I use any 15" rim with my new tires or do you recommend that I use the manufacturer approved rims? I do a lot of driving and with winter coming I want to keep safe on the roads. Or, is there a different option that I have not considered, an option that hopefully costs less than the $80 per rim, perhaps something closer to the tire price.

Thanks for all your help guys! And thanks to any ladies who may be able to assist.

Default Re: Acura 1.7 EL rims

hi, no one replied to you? and I see you posted this a while ago...hopefully you got your answer....you can use any rims, that are 15x7 or maybe even 15x6, as long as they have a 4 x 100 bolt pattern, 100 is the distance between bolts in millimeters.

I was interested in your post because I just bought those winter tires on a closing sale....my price was $36 a piece, but granted I bought them after winter was over, for next season....

how do you like the tires? what rims did you end up getting for them? I do have a set of stock rims I just bought from someone, but I'm thinking of selling them because I need cash now for something and then looking closer to winter for another seller.
