Default What could I do to increase horsepower/ 94 integra?

I wanted to increase my horsepower to at least 400hp I know that it is possible to use turbochargers but what kind of turbos would be ideal for me? and also what else could I put on my car?

i am assuming that you have an ls? well, start off by rebuilding the bottom end, with some low/er compression pistons. build your head, with i would suggest skunk cams, valves, springs, cam gears, ect. get a high flow intake manifold, like skunk, or blox, available on ebay, a high flow fuel pump, talon tsi fuel injectors, and then pick your turbo, t3/t4 hybrid, t88, 16g, it all depends on what kind of boost you want, 10# quick, or 18-20# later in the rpm range. of course it wouldn't hurt to upgrade your computer either.

your 3 best options are. 1.swap the motor for a b20 from a cr-v(drops right in) it will need to be sleeved to reach the 400hp mark but will be easer to achieve due to the higher displacement. 2.swap for the prelude h22(there's a company that makes a swap kit for the 3rd gen integra) the high output version is already at 200hp but it will also have to be sleeved for best results. 3.if you are intent on keeping the b18 that you have your best bet is to get a b16 head v-tec or non v-tec depending on what you want(for turbo the non-vtec is easier to tune) upgrading your valve train to titanium to get a better redline... all are good ideas and with proper tuning and turbo sizing 400hp is obtainable... but why 400 on a front wheel drive car you will have horrible torque steer?

400hp out of an integra will require a big wad of cash.

i would go for the gt35R turbo on your car. Chances are if you are wanting 400hp then you must know it's gonna cost money. Your gonna need to rebuild your motor to accomodate for the boost. Crank, rods, bearings, valvetrain, pistons, cams, and the list goes on. The gt35r is a popular turbo and it will be a great turbo with good efficiency, ideal if your looking for quarter mile runs. ( i assume that's what you want, 400hp is too much to autocross in a integra) Plus it will have plenty of potential if you decide to make bigger horsepower.

personally i like turbos but when you have one you will constantly be tuning it. I would recommend a supercharger for the fact that you will have instant gains and you dont have to tune it as much as a turbo. Turbos ...its been known to happen...will screw up on you ususally if you are not taking care of it. How I usually build a car is like this:brakes and suspension---what good is a car that goes fast if you cant stop?ignition--the engine will need more "firing"cams and cam gears...if you are using a stage 2 then you will have to replace pistons as welllifters and springsfuel rail ---the power is going to need more fluid
