the blue book vaule is at 21k for excellent condition . oif you puchase this car then you might have to invest money into it on top of the price considering the high milage. if its 6 speed then you might already have to replace the clutch etc.

I'd say do a little bit more research & see what you can find out. I suggest checking out the forum I belong to at: Acurazine.com & put it to the forum community to get honest opinions for the car you are considering. Mine happens to be an older car ('01 CL Type S with minor mods) with over 105K miles & still runs great....

I would not be afraid of an acura with 85k miles on it. My last one was a 1996 with 195 miles on it and ran like a champ. My current one has 92k miles on it and running very strong.I would imagine to have that many miles on it being two years old that it would be mainly highway miles. As long as the regular maintenance was done and the car was taken care of, I say go for it.

Personally, I would say no because the mileage is too high, even if the owner took good care of it. You would be better off going for a TL with fewer miles that has been taken care of very well. Also 85K miles in two years is a lot...

If this is what your budget allows then yes I would say go for it if you have it checked by a mechanic you can trust and if you don't know one then ask family members who to take it to. If you wan't then take it to an Acura dealer and have them look at it. Even if it costs $200 then it was money well spent if you find a problem with it. It's worth it if you find nothing wrong also so you know it is ok and youre not worrying the whole time you have it. Check the maintenance journal also if they really take care of their car they will have this filled out. I would also do a carfax and check the history because this seems a little cheap for this car. If everything checks out then yeah it should be fine because as you have heard Acura runs forever as long as you do regular maintenance.

Not worth the money at all. For a brand new one, you could get it for a little over $30000. If you are extremely serious about this one, ask if it is mostly highway miles. If it is, that's good.

Honestly I think that kind of mileage is nothing for a modern Japanese car. Provided it has a good service history it sounds like a good buy. Maybe the guy will haggle a little lower.
