Is it possible to play dvds on an 04 3.5 Acura RL? If possible how can i do it?

most the time navagation DVD player will only play DVD's with the engine off key on and parking brake up. That is how the 350Z navi player works. Not while driving, and even then most likey not because I don't think the screen in the RL has a high enough resolution to play movies.
