this is a serious problem i have. i like the fact that the tsx is a 4 door. as a wanna be parent, i like the fact that a car seat would be easier to fit into the 4 door. the tsx has the wonderful honda k24 motor which is a quite powerful 2.4 L 4 cylinder engine with the i- v-tech system which alows you to get awesome gas mileage during normal driving circumstances with extreme performance under high rpm driving. on the flip side however is the wonderful rsx-s. this car has the amazing k20. it is a smaller engine but in type-s trim it is actually tuned up to make more power than the larger 2.4 liter engine. this car is retarded fast and very enjoyable to drive. it also has the same i-v-tech system employed by the 2.4 liter but because of performance tune gets slightly less fuel mileage. so basically which would you prefer, the all out performance of the rsx-s or the useability of the 4 doors at a slight loss in perfomance. whichever way you go however, i feel that it is a great decision either way.

Well my husband drives a TSX and I have an RSX-S. I hate his car and he hates mine.I don't like 4 drs and floating...I like road feel, cornering, the hatch and it fits me like a glove ( I'm short ).My husband likes 4 drs. ( I don't know why, we don't have kids). He likes the feel. The features and the trunk. ( I don't sit right in his car, even though we're about the same size. (he's 5'5" and I'm 5'2".)I DO like all the windows in his car. (thats the ONE drawback of the RSX-S...the view out the sideback. That little window with the big pillar is a pain. Mostly because I set low and can't see around the headrest very well.)(and they're both sticks....I won't drive an auto.)So you need to pick one that suits YOU....cause you're gonna have to drive it..

I owned a RSX for years, and drove the TSX for many hours during my new car buying spree...I can say this.. they 'feel' very similar... In terms of engine power and handling. The RSX is a little more aggressive but its not big enough to be a determining factor. The RSX had alot of trunk space since it was a hatchback.. but having 4 passengers became a pain in the a$s. The TSX has (for me) a nicer interior, some high-tech gadgets inside, and some xenon headlights..Really, the question should be... "Do you want a 2 door car, or a 4 door car"Something else to consider.. the RSX is no longer manufactured

The RSX type S will handle better and probably be more fun to drive. The TSX will be more roomy and comfortable, probably more practical, but less fun to drive, and will not handle nearly as well in the corners.I like all the options that the top of the line TSX's have to offer, but I would still choose the RSX type S, it is faster, looks better, more fun to drive, and still has leather seats, premium audio, and a power moonroof, cant go wrong.
