Default why my acura jerks ?
I have a 1996 acura 2.5 tl and nowadays when i am driving it, the odometer needle swings and sometimes its dead and the car jerks and the d4 light is blinking.

well the D4 lights indicates that you have a problem with your automatic transmission and need to have it checked out ASAP in the mean time check your fluid level and try not to drive to hard or fast

VSS signal from VSS sensor missing intermittenly.Replace sensor.

Yup, it's most likey the VSS (Vehcile Speed Sensor).
