Not if I can beat it with an $8000 chevelle (or other classic car) that only increases its value as it gets older. You will still have money left over to pay for the gas milage, too. And.....the best part........you can sell it for a higher price AFTER you have had your fun. Not the same for the Acura, I'm afraid.Investing it in a down payment on a house is still smart. They increase in value, but only if you buy smart. Also, no one can steal it plain sight with a tow truck, and a fake tow bill. You're not going to sleep in that car, are ya?

acura are an extremely well bbuilt car and no matter what other people say they retain there vaule well trust me i own one. the type-s tl is a good mix of sport and class id has all the features possilbe of the tl but with the engine of the rl and the stylin of a sporty car if comes with the 286 hp 3.5l v6 factory dual, dual tip exhahust better rims and a nicer rear bumper. also leather sport two tone interior, electic seats with heat, paddle shifter(automatic), standard navigation and just about anything else you could think of in my eyes its just as good if not better then the bmw and mercedes benz

for me i wouldnt but it cuz i cant spend that much on that car. i rather buy an accord only because the sizeis similar. 4 door cars are suppose to be family size. like an lexus ls/gs. but since we talking bout acura. the RL is just 10k more. but its only slighty bigger. but AWD. i think the RL looks better. but i dont care for speed. i figure mind as well just get a base TL for just 33. or buy an ACCORD for just 25. but hey if you like go for it. you gotta lik your car. can let someone else tell you what to buy.

I own a TL. I think the you should buy the regualr TL not the "S" and save yourself a big chunk of money. Your taking an already sporty luxury car and paying a premium for a few mod that are mostly cosmetic. The regualr Acura TL holds it value like crazy and is a super reliable car. I sold my 2004 for over $24K just a month ago!!

I owned the TL. Frankly, I thought it was dull. Sure it is fairly fast and has lots of extras in it. But considering the handling (it being FWD), I couldn't pay $40K for one.I traded my TL in for a BMW 3 series. It's better looking and infinitely more fun to drive. The 328i is as fast as the regular TL, and the 335i is as fast as the Type S. But either car will smoke the TL if the road has any bends in it.Personally I'd rather have a 328i than a Type S for the same money. Just take a test drive on a country lane and see how well that rear wheel drive and amazing suspension feels around the corners. True Acura have some great residuals, but the BMW is better. For me there is no contest.

YES! i worked at an acura dealership and those things are amazing. they are sick fast (i pulled out onto a 2 lane highway from a redlight and floored it while doing so and i couldnt keep the steering wheel straight) it wasnt excessive like i was about to crash but definately a fast car and they are very nice and comfortable too.
