Is it a good car to own?

I would think it would be a little small for a family of six. Try taking a look at a Lincoln Navigator or a Ford Expedition and see how they compare for interior room.

It sure is. One of the best crossover SUV's.

It's too small for 6, even though it can seat that many. The third row is really only good for short trips. you're probably better off with a minivan. The Honda Odessy is pretty good.

A minivan would be a better choice.

well, it seats 7... but 2 are 3rd row seats which means you will have minimal trunck room, unless 3 sit in the 2nd row and 1 in the 3rd. it is a good car, but a minivan would be more ideal. More trunk room, and alot more comfortable seating.

No its too small. The 3rd row seats on mid sized SUV's are baby sized. Look into a full size SUV like a Suburban or Expedition.That's a great review Wandering Gnome. Perhaps getting an opinion from a car expert instead of a money expert would be better though.

Hmm.. This is quite an intriguing discussion. For me, based from the pictures I've seen, I think the Acura MDX would be perfect for a six-person family if the children are still young where they can still sit comfortably but when they grow tall, the Acura MDX could still carry six person but somehow make some passengers uncomfortable to ride on and it would be tight for six tall people to ride it especially the ones seating at the 3rd row. Well, that's what I think.
