Default What should I do to fix up my 1997 acura integra gsr?

I was told I could get it looking tight, and add parts to make it faster for less than $500.

The best thing you could do is jack up the radiator cap and slide an American car in....but that is just my opinion...

um the best thing i think you could get for under 500 is an intake and maybe an exhaust if you know were to look as for boby kits i think the body on is fine just lower it about an inch and put 18 inch rims it will look great dont go bigger tho because it will slow your ride down

Add a coolzz bodykitz and stickerzhsh! Adds 6686890horses. Just kidding. hahaWell, for 500 dollars, i think you should be better off getting an intake and an exuast. Be sure not to get a ricey one that sounds like a fart cannon. Get a muffler that has a deep, low tone. Or maybe remove your top speed limiter if you have one. This wont make it faster, but give it a better overall look. Stock suspension is ok, but aftermarket gives you a smoother, lower ride. So get a pair of springs, shocks or coilovers.

For $500 ... the only thing that will give you noticable gains is Nitrous.Intake/exhaust (if done properly) will set you back over $1,000. Headers alone will be $300/$400 dollars. A proper cat back exhaust will set you back another $600.Anyone that tells you that you can make it go faster for $500 is trying to sell you something. To properly set up the GSR you'll need the following:- air flow (intake, header, exhaust) - $1,200- suspension (full coilover, rear sway bar w subframe brace) $1,500- street legal race tires - $600- engine mods - $2,000 to $10,000 (depends what you go with)So for $500 ... put in a nitrous system and call it a day.
