were is the fuel pump relay located on a 1988 acura legend?

The relay is just to the left of the steering wheel, up under the dash. you need to remove the lower dash cover and sort of get upsidedown to see it. If I remember correctly, it's mounted to a bracket with another connector or relay. It takes a lot of patience to get it out. When mine failed my acura would start sometimes and then it wouldn't then it would etc. Good luck.

under the dashits says MISTUBA on it and its brown or grey in color with 7 wires

Looking up from the brake pedal,rectangular box,says main relay on the outside,held on by a bracket,a 10mm socket will do the job.

Its in the panel close to your left knee when sitting. Not under the dash. Once the panel is removed (there are screws, does not just pop off), you will see the relay facing you.
