I asked this in another section of the site but didnt really get a good answer so I'll try here..I'm looking for a decent sounding cat back exhaust for my integra that wont get that coffee-can sounding ricey noise most people have. I've put too much into my audio system to be drowned out by a weedwacker sound coming from my car lol. My thought so far is a Greddy Evo2 cat back, typical N1 style but idk how that sounds. I'm up for other options too (twin loop, etc). Just want something that has a good low sound to it and isnt very overpowering. 2.25" pipe recommended.

there is a company named Walker that makes performance mufflers that are made to sound stock...no lie. i hate the fart can sound...i prefer the sound of the intake. anyways, i installed the muffler and it does indeed not make any sound...just a slight deep sound...just the way i like it.

You would want the Evo2 exhaust. when cruising at 2,000-5,000 RPM it is hardly noticable on the inside. But when you do get on it, it has a nice deep throaty sound. I had on on my 99 civic SI until I turboed an built it now it has a 3" exhaust. But as far as quality goes its pretty much unbeatable. Plus you dont get the weedwhacker on steroids sound.

if you like the sound u can look into the apexi n1 and have just a custom piping with it.. cheaper.. or else rsr sounds nice too and skunk2 catback system, get trust but a little to loud.. or u can always pick magnaflow... goodluck findin the right muffler for your ride...
