Default car security? what should i do?

about 3 months ago, my car (acura integra 94 2dr) was broken into and they took my crappy cd player. i had an alarm but they manage to open the trunk and pull off the battery without arming the alarm. then after a month of that incident, my locker in the gym was pried open and there was no security camera in the gym. they took my bag including my one and only car key and remote for my alarm. so i got my car towed home and i took off the battery. after a few days, i saw marks on my window like they were trying to open my car but they didnt and i think they figured out that i took off the battery. i think they are into stealing my car now. what should i do since they have a key to my car and a remote to disarm my alarm?

Loosen all your lug nuts when you get home so if the do take it they won't get far. Just don't forget to tighten them when you leave with the car OR Put a bunch of flour in ziploc bags and place them in a briefcase in the trunk ORPlace a hypodermic needle on the seat ORGet one of those paint bombs from the bank ORGet your dealer to change locks

First report it. Second you can have the alarm replaced, and have the ignition lock changed to a new key. But all those cost money. Call your insurance company and tell them whats going on they may even help with the cost. After all its cheaper for them to help with those cost than replace your car.

Get a new remote to your alarm and have it reprogrammed, and the others deleted. I am assuming you have a starter or ignition interrupt installed. If not, you need to do that. It will be pretty difficult to program the new remote without the key. The alarm brain will have to be dropped down, and the ignition wire will have to be jumped to power for programming sequence. You might as well have the key refitted first. Sometimes you can do this by going to the dealer with the registration. They often can pull a key code from the VIN number. It's worth a shot. You can also disconnect the power to the ignition coil or the fuse to the ignition to be extra safe.

You also get locking lug nuts for your wheels and a locking bar for your steering wheel...If you can...park your car up close to where you live. Acura 'might' help you re-key your locks if you tell them whats going on...also report all this to the police and your car insurance. Maybe install a kill switch for the ignition. (Integras are one of the MOST stolen vehicles...sorry...)Someone who wants your car knows you, otherwise how would they know what gym you go to and what your name is ??? (to get into your gym locker)

1st off all, you should report it. I consider getting a locking bar for your steering wheel so if they do get inside, they can't getcar because the bar for the steering wheel will make the steering wheel turn only slightly. Then either loosen or tighten your lug nuts. Or just remove the tires completely. But yea, somebody who's trying to steal your car is somebody who knows you. If they didn't, how did they manage o get your keys from your locker, and find out where you live? Report that also. Or if you have a garage, try parking your car in the garage, or somewhere in your driveway.Or go to te dealer, and then have them reprogram your alarm system, I'm guessing they'll put a chip in the alarm system from the VIN (vehicle identification number) of your car.
