Default I lost my keys to an 05 Acura?
I was wondering if all I need to do is go to the Acura dealership and present my vin number and pay the price for a new key. Can anybody tell me if thats all you need?

Yes,present your VIN number but if you bought it from Honda go back to the dealership you bought it from, they should have your key number. When I bought my car from GM they gave me a copy of my key numbers. Bye Blue

yup, that is all you have to do! the dealership will give you a new key and you can also pay extra for a new key-remote. It happens to all of us at least once in our lifetime!....... smile

Yeah just present your VIN number to any Acura dealership & they'll make you a new key. I sugust buying more than one because they charge for geting the code and then the key if you buy 2 it'll be maybe 10 buck more..

When my dad got his TSX, they gave him 2 sets of keys and a Valet key. Shouldn't you have an extra one?
