It depends on a lot of factors. These days mileage is not always such a bad thing. An Acura TL could easily last to 200,000 if it is well looked after. Sometimes a high mileage vehicle can be a good buy since it may have gotten high mileage with a lot of long drives on the interstate. This kind of mileage is great for a car, as the engine is a peak efficiency, you are hardly using the brakes or transmission while cruising. The biggest thing I would be looking for is the service history. Did the previous owner keep records? Was the car serviced at an Acura dealer, or did they just change the oil at some random oil change place? Did they do all the major services and do them properly at an Acura dealer?I would buy a high mileage TL, but only with a full service history.I have an 05 TL and they are great cars.
