The only ways you can get more torque is to increase the size of the engine or add some sort of charge (turbo, super).

A cold air intake works good. AEM has one for that model. A super/turbo charger would work the best. Also replacing your exhaust, straight piping will allow for more air to flow and give you more power.

35 is a lot... cant be done wth quick and easy mods.. u could either go with crazy n/a upgrades like a stroking kit for more displacement, rebuild the head w/ better cams, then do the basic bolt ons or u could boost it with a turbo or super charger, both of which costs a lot. nos is pretty easy but its temp. better to just save up for a better car with more torque to start. modding a car for that much more power will make it a lot less dependable. i boosted an integ (ls) for fun and it ran well for like 5k then i blew a piston. it happens ^^

No such thing as 35 ft lbs quick and easy. to get to 160 ft lbs you will need almost 50 ft lbs anyway. they only put down 112 ft lbs of torque at the front wheels from the factory. To accomplish this the only practical thing to do is buy a turbo kit from either Greddy, or Turbonetics. NO combination of "easy" bolt on parts will give you the increase you are looking for. Even if you got a Greddy Evo2 exhaust, DC header, and AEM intake the most you will see is about 15 HP an 12-15 ft lbs of torque. These 3 will run around $1,000. the Turbonetics turbo kit runs $3,300 and bolts on WITH NO MODS in about 10-12 hours and has everything you need right down to the fuel management.
