The Acura has much more power than the older Maxima, plus the extra gear. A newer Maxima 6 speed would give it a run for its money though.

The TL 6 spd's best 0-60 time is around 5.9 seconds. The '00 Maxima's best is a tad under 7 seconds.

Acura TL, the Acura TL Type S is faster than the reg TL but the Type S looks like a race car
