I just purchased a 2003 RSX last month and I can't seem to find the right seat adjustments for me. I've tried almost every adjustment combination possible, yet my lower back is in constant pain. Is there something else I can try?

You need lower lumbar support. I'm fairly certain they make molded foam cushions for this, but in the meantime you can use a rolled up towel placed in the small of your back to help alleviate the problem.Additionally, If you're a guy get in the habit of removing your wallet when you get into the car. Sitting on your wallet for long periods, with one cheek higher than the other, can cause spinal injuries and back pain.

I've had the same problem with just about any car I've driven. They all end up placing your hips lower than your knees when your seated, especially if your tall like me. I finally found a solution that works for any car I drive, and it's a simple inexpensive one. You simply sit on a thick 20 inch square foam cushion that raises your rump up. The foam has to be firm like the "Temporpedic" type foam cushion pillows. Also adjust the seat to raise your hips up higher relative to your knees. Try it and see if it helps. You could buy a small Temporpedic foam pillow or cushion designed to pad the seat (not the back of the seat) of an automobile. I have a wedge shaped one that may be even better because the thickest part of it can be positioned towards the seat back. Basically, the typical car seat bottom doesn't have enough support built into it. You end up sitting on the floor board!

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. I HAD A 03 RSX TYPE S AND BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE LOW BACK PAIN. I SHRUGGED IT OFF UNTIL I ENDED UP WITH A SLIPPED DISK. PLEASE USE SOME SORT OF SMALL THIN PILLOW WHEN DRIVING THIS CAR IF YOU HAVE BACK PAIN.
