You are given two remotes, which correspond to driver one and driver two. When the seat position is set, whichever remote you use just tells the car that driver one or two has unlocked the door. When the door is opened, the seat and mirrors adjust to that (# 1or 2) position. It will also adjust such things as climate control and radio...Hope this helps!

I think there is a set up option that determines if the key is connected to the seats or not. I remember when I got my car it was not set up so nothing happened when I used the remote except the doors opened. I changed something in the options and then it started to work. The first step is to open the car with the key you are going to be using (driver 1 or driver 2).Then adjust the seats and mirrors to suit yourself then hold the memo button on the drivers door until the buttons marked 1 and 2 flash and you hear a beep. Then press 1 or 2 depending on which key you are using. This may be all you need to do. If it still doesn't work, go into the set up options on the computer and it may ask you if you want to link the key to that setting.Once you've done all that as soon as you unlock the car in future your personal preferences will be recalled and your seat and mirrors will be moved to the place you want.If you ever need to move positions you just hit that memo button again followed by the numbered button, and your new settings will be remembered. If you still have the manual, you'll find it in there.
