Default Is there going to be a new generation Acura CL?

Acura needs a coupe to compete with the Infiiniti G Coupe.Yeah, I've seen the Accord Coupe Concept. Pretty impressive, but the side profile view just screams FWD.

I'm not sure, but I am 100% with you...I mean they're getting rid of the RSX too, supposedly. Then they need some V-8 power to be more competitive. It comes down to stubborness which Acura/Honda is.

Nothing planned right now. The New Honda Accord Coupe is going to be a surprise! A Stunner! Not in the same league as the G37 Coupe, but quite a good ride and great looks! This is going to very close to the production model, see below.

Oh Yeah! they have something, my buddy works at Acura as a tech and rumor is that the TL coupe is going to be released first time in Honda history as a DOHC V6 iVtec, with est 300 hp in 2009, i was like whoa! Replacing its little brother the acura RSX due to theft control. Since its harder to swap a v6 engine into an older civic or acura

Honda has not been excited about making coupes...their CL did not sell well. In fact, overall, most coupes don't sell well.Honda's happy to let Infiniti go chase the BMW M3 all by themself. Infiniti will of necessity make substantial compromises in the process & that means fewer units sold.Honda's new '08 Accord does indeed look sharp. However, it's still first & foremost a family car...one with spirit, but a family car none the less. However, the Honda S2000 represents the more serious effort at a performance coupe/roadster. The S2000 won't likely accelerate quite like the Infinity G, but it will be it's equal in every other category. And there are loads of performance mods for the Honda making it 'game' with most anything out there in the same price range.
