My question is if I upgrade cam gears and camshafts on an ls b18 ill have to upgrade valve springs and retainers (yes or no) ...unless im wrong... honda is new to me. Once the valve springs and retainers are upgraded do I have to upgrade my rods and pistons or will the brackets line up to the camgears correctly?

u may need to upgrade valves and springs depending on how big or agressive the new cams ur putting in are, but ud have to check with the manufacturer, if their an oem part it should be fineur internals should be fine unless ur gonna run high compression or high rpms
