I was driving down the fwy on saturday when my acura gave a tug ultimately causing it to slow down. I popped it into neutral and was rolling. When I popped back into 6th gear the check engine went on and my RPM would not go higher than 4000( I had it modified for the v-tech to kick in that early ) What could be wrong? Is it the V-tech sylonoid? After giving the car a rest for about half an hour I test drove it. The v-tech was working fine but the check engine light was still on.What's going on?!?

The ECU received a signal and put the car into limp home mode. Get the car diagnosed to find out the fault code that caused it.

pull the code. it could be the vtec syloniod or low oil pressure

it could be the vsa. that's what mine was. it went from 80-25 on the freeway. the check engine light came in on mine too
