Would a 01-03 Acura CL Type-S (engine + 6spd tranny) fit into a 96 Integra?

I think it is always a bad idea to get involved in something like that.You spend a bunch of money and then when someone buys the car down the road it is pretty worthless because it has been modified. Also these kinds of mods can invalidate your insurance if the engine has even 1 HP more power.

i'd go with a cheaper swap...hell a b16or18 can have plenty of power...and you might be able to turbo a b16 for the price of a swap

If anything you would want to keep it 4cyl. Check out B18c VTEC motors or K series motors for power. You can also turbo or supercharge the motor that is already in the car. The integra isnt built for a V-6 so that will really make the car front heavy, more than it already is.
