If you want a car with a supple ride, then yes it is not worth buying. If you want a car that handles, then it is worth considering (though front wheel drive won't handle as enjoyably as rear wheel drive... if you really want handling, think about a bmw 3 series... it's in about the same price range as acura)

i highly doubt the acuras suspension is stiff enough to bother you. unless you drive a Lexus or Cadillac it is probably not much harsher than the car you drive now if you want a really soft ride look at Lexus but the Acura will handle better without a harsh ride.

No, it doesn't mean that. The Acura (I assume you're talking about the TL) is a VG car. Test drive it more than once, on different kinds of roads. All cars are nice on perfectly smooth roads, but you need to see how it feels on other kinds of roads as well.If you like the ride, and all the other attributes relative to the competition, then buy the car.Personally, I like the car very much. The ride/suspension is fine with me.

As far as the RDX goes, for me it was the noisy harsh engine that made it a car not worth buying. They should have put a more powerful V6 in it, as opposed to a little four cylinder turbo. But to answer your question, you have to consider what you want. A stiffer suspension tends to lend itself to better handling. A softer suspension may be more comfortable but tends to 'wallow' around corners. There are a plethora of American cars with soft floppy suspesion, that handle like a boat. If that's what you want, get one. If you'd rather have a stiffer ride, but significantly better handling then get an RDX or similar.
