Default What's rong with my Acura RDX's engine?

Hi, I have a brand-new Acura RDX and something's rong with my engine. It started knocking and when I checked my engine specs on my navigation system, it said out loud "Your engine may not operate properly. Acceleration my be redused and the engine performance may be low. Limit your driving and have your dealer inspect your vehicle as soon as possible". What shuld I do?

This can't be true, Honda Motors products are perfect. This sound like one of those domestic makes. YUCK!Would you please go to your dealer? If it's new it's under warrenty. GEEZE!

the gas that is recommended for this car is high octane gas only. Did you put regular gas instead? You can still bring it to your dealership service dept to have it looked at, since it is still covered under warranty.

If you used regular gas this could have caused the problem.Take it to the dealership and have them fix it. It is their job to do this. Of course if you used regular gas, the warranty may be invalid.

Have you done an oil change lately because the RDX can only use Mobile 1 fully synthetic oil. This is the only approved oil for this vehicle. I have seen something similar in the new MDX but it wasn't the oil it was just the computer wen't nuts. Of course like everyone else has said if you do not use premium gas in this vehicle it will kill performance as you now are driving a turbo performance vehicle and it does require high test gas.
