buy an aftermarket one and you wont have to worry about the crappy code or you can call them or remove the radio and check on top for a 5 digit code

Call the acura dealership and they can look up your code for you.

you can call the dealer or check for the if it was written on top of the radio in the glove box or fuse pannel. if you call they are still gonna need proof that you own the car. you can always go aftermarket and you wouldnt have to deal with it =)

I have a 94 Legend. There should be a little card in your owners manual books that has the code on it.

I just had this problem with my 97 Acura 2.2 CL when I changed the battery. You need the radio serial number before the dealer can look up the code. You have to have the radio removed because the serial number, of course, is in the back of the unit (1998 models have the serial number in the glove box). You can either go to the dealer or go to a local car alarm/radio installation shop and ask them to pull the radio for you. I paid $4.00 at the following site and removed my own radio. The site is: http://www.carstereoremoval.com. They give a step-by-step on removing your radio. Hope this helps.
