Default What's rong with my Acura RDX's engine?

Hi, I have a brand-new Acura RDX and something's wrong with my engine. It started knocking and when I checked my engine specs on my navigation system, it said out loud "Your engine may not operate properly. Acceleration my be redused and the engine performance may be low. Limit your driving and have your dealer inspect your vehicle as soon as possible". What shuld I do?

Your car know's best. Knocking will cause the knock sensor to cut engine timing. You are using the best gasoline right? not cheeping out on the regular stuff? Any weird sounds from an engine can get expensive just be glad your car is new and you have kept up with the oil changes "you have receipts for oil changes" Hey look at it this way you get to drive some piece of crud rent car for a couple of days. Get that car to the dealer I would ask the service advisor if a tow truck is needed. Knocking is serious if internal motor parts are making the noise. I had this customer that put diesel in a car and thought they blew it up.....

listen to what it says-take it back to the dealer-it is under warranty. If they have to keep the car you might be able to get a loaner

First off, who cares? If you have a brand new RDX it is under warranty. It's not like you are going to fix it yourself.Take it slowly to the dealership, have them give you a nice courtesy car while they fix it.Honestly, if you have to ask what to do, you this vehicle issue is the least of your life problems.

You should exactly what the nav system said. Go to the dealership. You should have a warranty on it and doing it yourself would be a lot more complicated since there are so many electric parts.
