I already have a chip in it and also a Magna Flow exhaust system. Stock, as you know is 142 hp and it should be around 155 or more now (I bought the car from a car how it is). I'm going to add a intake to it. That should get me at 165 -170 hp. What not to expensive of ways could I do to get my engine to run faster. I would like to get at 200 or more. I've read that the head can be changed to a V-Tec head to get it going, of course, V-Tec. How much will that bring me up? I appreciate any help. You will not get 10hp from an intake unless your last one was a styrofoam cup. If you want easy cheap horse power then look into headers, underdrive pulleys and ignition parts. If you change your clutch try to add a light weight flywheel for faster revs. HP doesnt come cheap to a 4 banger, I should know, I had an all motor integra running 13s. If you want big power than prepare to spend big bucks and look into a turbo or ls/vtec or a purpose built nitrous set up.

200 HP, You will need a TURBO!!!A used one can get U in the door pretty cheap. But it will require lots of other mods to go along with it.Try searching TEAM-INTEGRA.NEThttp://www.team-integra.net/sections...19godspeed!!!!

The thing is dude that's a 12 year car. No matter how good the other owners have kept it or you did, the car is at a 115-120HP. Why becasue due to engine wear and other things the car just loses HP. With the exhaust is it a full piping if so maybe like a 5HP gain. An intake like a 3HP gain and with the VTEC head you need the slinoid and the ECU to gain like maybe 30HP. so together you barley got 158HP. Add a header probably like 10HP, bringing a total of 168 HP and since your car has more torque and it is the new LS VTEC or LSR, you can kill GSR and type R's. Also your driving and racing skills must be perfected if you are to beat them.

The Animal is right about the exhaust. it doesnt give out that much HP. Dont kno why u bought an LS to mod up. should've went for a geezer or an R. If i were you just save up for a turbo car. If anything on the LS. just go ls vtec. dont waste ur money on the ls you'll regret it like everybody else i know.
