My brake lights will not go off in my acura integra, any advice?

brake light switch is bad. under the dash...look on the iron rod which your brake pedal is attatched to. You will see a "button" with wires coming from it. Most likely this item is bad...not too difficult to replace. On some cars it is adjustable but normally just replacing it fixes the problem...and in most cases it is relatively inexpensive compared to other repairs.

if the brake switch is good, next may want to check for a wire grounding out somewhere.
