Default Dash light problem?

I have a 97 acura cl 3.0 The dash lights dont turn on when i turn the car on with the key. However they do turn on when i use my Viper automatic start button. But they turn back off as soon as i put the key in the ignition and press the gas or break. The dimmer button works fine because it works when i turn the car on using the automatic start. Can someone please give me some feedback.

take it back to whoever installed your viper automatic system as something has gone haywire in the wiring of it, could be just a wire has fallen off someplace.
