It displays CODE on the screen and I have the code written down on the inside of the manual and theres even paperwork from when a previous owner took the car in to have them find out the security code, she paid $60 just for that! so I KNOW I definitely have the CORRECT CODE so that is NOT the problem. I'm entering it correctly and it is still not working.

What you can do is pull out your radio from the dash, and look at the serial # in back of radio, once retrieved, along with your vin # you will be able to get your code to unlock the radio. they should not charge you for that information!!!! it's easier for you to pull out your radio by yourself with two flat screwdrivers, then pay $60 bucks for someone to do it for you. just be careful!

Mine was etched "RC 56342" (Radio Code=56342) on the bottom side of the fuse cover.If not call the dealer with the vin. They may ask the serial number of the radio. It'll be on the back of the radio or by turning on the ignition, holding 1 and 6 then turning on the radio. It will start giving you four numbers at a time. This is the serial number. they shoud give it to you over the phone.
