Avoid ebay because there are scammers all over the place. Not to mention, why would you ever buy something without looking and inspecting it first?Im from Milwaukee and I would suggest looking in the journal sentinal. The Acura integra is a solid car, I have an RSX type S which is the newer integra and for the money it's one of the best cars you can buy.If you arn't a speed demon I would suggest getting an LS or GS model, due to the fact that they are available in both automatic and manual and they are significantly cheaper than the higher end models. These both have 140 hp dual overhead cam engines which usually get about 30-35mpg on the freeway (as long as you don't beat on them). The GS-R's and Type R's are pricey not to mention probably not in your price range judging by the fact that you know about what year you are looking for. The GS-R has 170 hp and the type-r has 195. The only fall back with these cars is that they are always among the most highly stolen vehicles in the U.S. When they remade the car into the rsx, they added a much neede security system with which the normal integra's dont all have stock. I would definitely look into protecting your investment with an alarm anti-theft system, especially if you are in the rougher parts of town (i.e. down by Marquette's campus).A final note is that you should take a look into carfax or have the seller provide a carfax report, just so you dont get scammed. I'd tell you to look at the dealerships around town, but as long as you avoid Wilde Honda, and even Acura of Brookfield you will be fine. Wilde Honda in Waukesha is primarily overpriced. Other places to check out are Boyland Honda over in Franklin/Oak Creek area or Darrow Honda up in Glendale. I know theres a Honda dealer on hwy 100 in greenfield that isn't terrible either. Hope this helps.
