can i reset this ? *side notes*i don't have the code to get in it's the radio that comes standard with the car

Call a dealership they should provide you with the code.

I think you need a new radio, because if you don't have the code apparently you can't listen to the radio, so i suggest a a new radio (after market) unless you still want a stock radio, go to honda/acura dealership.

You need to find your radios serial # in order to get that four digit code. I drive a 97 acura tl, and was told that in order to retrieve my code to unlock the radio, that i would need to pull out the radio from my dash, in order to learn the radio's serial #. All you really need is to contact your dealer and with your radio serial # and your VIN # they should be able to reprogram for you. I dont know about these other people, but i dont have money to be going out and buying radios each time my battery is disconnected. Also, your acura dealership should provide that info for free! demand it!

youll have to get intp contact with acura and see if they can proved the code or reprogram it for you they will need the seiral number of the radio can the vin # and proof that you now own the car.or you can get an aftermarket radio for your caryou can check if the code is on top of the radio, 5 digits(like 22612 was mine) your gonna need to remove it though and if it is you use the preset buttons to eneter the code you get three tries then youll have to wait awhile

Check under the fuse box cover under the hood or inside the glove box. Some dealers put the code in there. Mine was etched "RC 56342" (Radio Code=56342) on the bottom side of the fuse cover.If not call the dealer with the vin. They may ask the serial number of the radio. It'll be on the back of the radio or by turning on the ignition, holding 1 and 6 then turning on the radio. It will start giving you four numbers at a time. This is the serial number. they shoud give it to you over the phone.

You Will need to go to your local Acura dealer and get the code from themI had the same problem with My Volvo 850

try unhooking the battery for 5 minutes that should reset the computer. good luck.

Look in the Manuel there should be a little card in there with the security code on it. Unhooking the battery will not do anything as I'm sure you have found out by now.
