...need a casing? Struts are a month old. Left side makes no noise, right side rattles like crazy. Salesman said we needed a casing or container or something else that we didn't buy before. It just sounds fishy to me. It doesn't feel like I have a shock absorber on that side at all. Does this sound familiar?

Unless the mounting brackets are broken or damage that is the only thing I can think of. Casings or containers? I would want some more clarification, they does seem odd! Get a written estimate and take it to another car repair show for a second opinion..

casing ???for what ??? I'd do what ^^^ says and get an independant repair person to look at it first..(Sears is weird these days about stuff...you can't trust'em...)

What are you doing taking your acura to Sears? Sure acura dealerships arn't cheap, but thats why you go to the Honda dealership instead. Sounds like a joint problem. But for a 6 year old car that normally wouldn't be an issue...
