i agree with you learning to drive stick. it's safer than at in a number of ways. but....the manual tranny of a type s has a couple of issues. and before anyone jumps on that statement call your local acura dealer and ask for the tsb. my wifes 3rd gear had to be replaced and 2 friends as well. the following statement is not ment to be rude or offend anyone, it was suggested to look into a wrx. if you are interested in it do not learn standard on it, do not drive it like a honda, awd is a whole new ballgame and it can be a very expensive lesson. and if your thinking of the warranty, don't, especially if you beat it...you'll be stuck with a nice bill. and learn how to be a safe driver before getting hp crazy. listen to the people that responded on here. from what i read they know what their talking about. good luck with everything.
