can you smell it burning when you do that? If so you can give it about a month before you need a new one unless you like it slipping when you get on the gas.

I own a shop, and can say this; how bad would your brakes be if they had been grinding for two months? Now you will have to do work to the flywheel such as having it resurfaced if it can be, plus a new clutch kit, and shims to get it back to the correct place on the crankshaft. When you have a flywheel resurfaced, you must shim it back out the same amount that was taken off it, or your clutch wont have the correct adjustment on it. Its about an extra 60-75 dollars to have the flywheel resurfaced, plus a few bucks for the shims. The clutch kit for your vehicle is pretty expensive. As far as how bad is it? I have to say its as bad as they get.Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Depends on the age and condition of the clutch and how bad you rode the clutch. If it still works good, doesn't slip, doesn't may funny sounds, and doesn't smell I wouldn't worry about it. You may have shortened its life a little. Just learn to drive it properly and you'll the most from the clutch and throwout bearing.

can you say $4500 (in repairs....)Someone ought to teach you how to drive...seems you didn't learn the first time...either that or you need a point and go.(automatic...don't forget to shift the auto...it's repairs are equally lovely.)
