Depends on what model you get. Apparently the Geo storm's aren't to good. However, Geo Prizms are great cars. I had a '95 Geo Prizm, one of the best cars I ever had. Geo Metros are okay, and you really shouldn't get a tracker because of the high center of gravity which causes you to roll over easy, so if your going with a Geo, get a Prizm.

According to Consumer Reports, Geos were one of the best small cars on the market in terms of reliability.

They get good gas mileage but are significantly under powered and struggle climbing hills (think semi trucks and VW's passing you). They are small which makes them not so safe in collisions and dont hold their value. Early American made 4cyl motors were nothing comapred to the Japanese motors of that time. I would say not a very good car.

Geos are not cars, they are wind-up toys.
